Jazz Musician Amanda Gardier Talks About Her New Album, Teaching And Having A Baby During COVID-19

Producing a new album of music requires plenty of work. The same can be said about teaching saxophone at Ball State and having a baby. Indianapolis jazz musician Amanda Gardier accomplished all three in the midst of the public health crisis.

WFYI’s Jill Ditmire spoke with her about unexpected silver linings and lucky timing, including good timing her students. Gardier joined the conversation by phone.
