Indianapolis Public Schools is offering free meals during the 2019-20 winter break.

Indianapolis Public Schools

Nearly 70 percent of students at Indianapolis Public Schools qualify for free meals at school. Qualification is based on federal income standards for families. As in past years, IPS will provide meals for all students during the winter break.

IPS is offering lunches at 11 school locations throughout the city and breakfast at a few places. Meals are available most days, today through January 3rd.

Students don’t need to prove that they qualify for free meals, based on family income. Anyone under the age of 18 may eat for free. Adults can buy lunch for four dollars.

IPS served more than 41,000 students free breakfasts and lunches this past summer.

Here is the Winter 2019 meal program schedule. Of more information, go to www.myips.org.
