Summer hiring season is here. Indy Parks recently announced a pair of job fairs to connect with potential applicants for seasonal positions.

Positions on offer range from $13 to $16.50 in hourly pay. Up to 400 of the jobs are eligible for an extra incentive program. Positions include lifeguards, counselors and other park positions.

Available incentives include a $500 early bird sign-on bonus, a $250 sign-on bonus and a $250 referral bonus. Additional details about sign-on bonuses are available on Indy Parks’ website.

Crista Carlino, Parks Committee Chair for the Indianapolis City-County Council, says Indy Parks’ summer jobs provide young people a chance to “gain valuable work experience while making a real difference in our community.”

The first job fair will be hosted at Christian Park on the east side, from March 24 to March 29. The second will take place at the west side’s Thatcher Park on April 5.
