State officials and RV business leaders gathered in Elkhart for the sixth annual RV Industry Power Breakfast today.

The group celebrated record March sale numbers, as well as looked ahead to the future of RV manufacturing how to appeal to a broader consumer base.

U.S. Sens. Todd Young (R-Ind.) and Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) were in attendance, as well as U.S. Reps. Jim Banks (D-Fort Wayne) and Jackie Walorski (R-Jimtown).

Rep. Walorski said she’s fought for manufacturers, and says the morning was to celebrate their successes.

“With rolling back regulations and bringing in tax reform and working right now to make sure we that we narrow these tariffs," Walorski said, "and the things that we’re looking at, I mean, we’re skyrocketing."

Speakers at the event also called for more collaboration with U.S. parks in an effort to increase the appeal of RVs to younger generations.
