TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — The president of Indiana State University says the school is getting a new strategic plan amid changes in faculty and the student body.

The (Terre Haute) Tribune-Star reports university president Dan Bradley talked about the new plan Wednesday at his annual fall address. He says the plan is expected to be unveiled next fall.

The current strategic plan was implemented six years ago, with boosting student enrollment among its major goals. The university hit an all-time high in enrollment at the beginning of the fall semester with 13,584 students.

Those who will create the new plan will focus on issues including student success. The four-year graduation rate is at its highest-ever level at 23.4 percent, but Bradley says he thinks the school can get up to 30 percent.
