A group of Indiana Red Cross volunteers are among hundreds going to California to support people affected by the wildfires there.

Duchess Adjei works with the Indiana Region of the American Red Cross and says they are providing shelter, relief supplies and comfort.

“We are providing supplies, as many as 7,000 people, and we are serving as many as 15,000 households,” Adjei says.

Adjei says Hoosiers looking to help can visit the Red Cross website to learn more.
