Holiday Recycling Event Is Back On

Holiday Recycling Event Is Back On

If you still have a pile of boxes, or your Christmas tree is collecting snow in the backyard, you can finally get rid of it on Saturday.

The Indianapolis Office of Sustainability and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful are hosting the eighth annual Post Holiday Recycling Event.  People from Marion County can also bring old electronics and Styrofoam to be reused.

The rescheduled drive comes almost a month after it was canceled because of heavy snow and bitter cold.

Four Indy parks are participating including Broad Ripple, Ellenberger, Perry and Krannert.  The drop off time is between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
