Gov. Eric Holcomb is quarantining after being exposed to COVID-19.

The governor’s office Tuesday announced several members of the governor’s security detail tested positive. State Health Commissioner Dr. Kris Box advised both Holcomb and his wife Janet to begin quarantine immediately.

The State Department of Health will conduct contact tracing for Holcomb, his wife and his security detail. Holcomb’s office says the governor will still participate in his usual Wednesday COVID briefing, but will do so by phone.
