INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Hard Rock name will going on the new on-land casino being planned in Gary and the same could happen for another proposed in Terre Haute.

Indianapolis-based Spectacle Entertainment says it reached the deal with Hard Rock International, which would manage the new casino planned for along Interstate 80/94 in Gary. The companies say they're boosting the project's estimated cost by one-third to $400 million by adding multiple restaurants and bars, a Hard Rock Cafe and a concert venue named Hard Rock Live.

Spectacle attorney John Keeler says the Hard Rock deal improves the quality of the company's bid for the new Terre Haute casino that's allowed under a wide-ranging gambling law approved by state legislators this spring.
