Today is the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, the first constitutional protection for women's right to vote.

From WFYI's metro desk, Terri Dee spoke with Rima Shahid, executive director of the non-partisan grassroots organization Women4Change. The group advocates for women’s equity -- professionally, in healthcare and in political leadership. Shahhid joined the conversation by phone and began by talking about the founding aims of the group.
