City Council President John Crawford said Thursday that he will file a complaint with the city's ethics board and the city attorney over possible city code and ethics code violations by former city clerk Sandy Kennedy. He also said he will recommend the council cuts the 2016 budget for the clerk's office by 75 percent.
The (Fort Wayne) Journal Gazette reports that Kennedy is accused of planning campaign fundraisers and intimidating employees into contributing to Deputy City Clerk Angie Davis' campaign.
Kennedy announced earlier this year that she won't seek another term. She resigned from her post Oct. 13, citing health concerns.
