The Indiana Department of Revenue will launch a new online tax portal this fall.

The Indiana Taxpayer Information Management Engine, or INTIME, will replace the current system the Department of Revenue uses to process taxes.

Commissioner Adam Krupp says the modernized system will allow businesses and individuals to file, view, pay and manage taxes in one place.

“Correspondence will be able to be exchanged, you can look at prior history,” says Krupp. “Basically, do all of the things folks have wanted to do at the Department of Revenue here in Indiana for a long time.”

The new system will release in a series of rollouts over the next three and a half years. The first rollout in September will cater to corporate taxes. Individuals are expected to gain access in 2021.
