D-Day's Sunken Secrets And An Indy Veteran's Memories of War


June 6 marks the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the massive Allied invasion that turned the tide of World War II. A new NOVA documentary uses cutting-edge technology to explore the hundreds of wrecks off the coast of Normandy and highlights the engineering that made D-Day possible.  Producer Doug Hamilton also turned to Indianapolis veteran Carver McGriff for understanding of how the Battle of Normandy unfolded.
