Community Center Holds First Phone-A-Thon

A local resource center is asking for the public’s help this week.  The Forest Manor Multi-Service Center says it has a severe shortfall in funds this season. That’s why it’s holding its first ever Phone-a-Thon.

The Indianapolis organization serves a particularly vulnerable population helping to conquer obstacles like homelessness and hunger.  Right now the center is unable to provide people with basic needs and is seeing an increase of families in need.

Wednesday, November 20th from 5:30-8:30 pm, FMMSC reached out to community members to help call potential donors as part of the Phone-a-Thon.  Anyone can help at any time by donating online at fmmsc.org.
