Colon Cancer Awareness, Diagnoses On The Rise

The death from colon cancer of 43-year-old actor and star of the movie “Black Panther” Chadwick Boseman led to increased attention on testing, as more people in their 40s are diagnosed with the disease.

WFYI's Terri Dee spoke with Eskenazi Health gastroenterologist Dr. Hala Fatima about the factors behind the uptick in cases and its impact on people of color.
