Chicago-Based ActiveCampaign Plans Expansion In Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A Chicago-based company that offers marketing and sales automation for businesses says it plans to expand its Indiana workforce to help meet increasing demand worldwide.

Officials announced Wednesday that ActiveCampaign plans to add more than 200 employees at its Indianapolis office, which opened in January. The company plans to invest more than $10 million in Indianapolis in the coming years. It currently has about 400 employees in Chicago, Indianapolis and Sydney, Australia.

Jason VandeBoom, founder and CEO of ActiveCampaign, says in a statement the new workers will help "scale the ActiveCampaign platform to continue to give small businesses the tools they need to create great experiences for their customers."

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. is expected to offer the company up to $6.2 million in conditional tax credits.
