The Vietnam War, a new documentary by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, premiered on PBS stations September 17.  The 10-episode, 18-hour documentary was 10 years in the making.

Dr. Gary Edgerton is professor of Creative Media and Entertainment at Butler University, an avid history buff, and author of the book “Ken Burns’s America.”  WFYI’s Jill Ditmire spoke with Edgerton and asked him what Burns brings to the ongoing conversations about the Vietnam War.
