Business leaders gather to discuss the 'State of the Region'

A panel of Indianapolis’ business leaders gathered Wednesday for the 2021 State of the Region.

Sarah Iglehart, the Indy Chamber’s Vice President of Indy Partnership, said the region’s future is promising.

“When we think about ag, for example and technology, two strengths that we have in the Indy region but the opportunities and the diversification and the overlap in those two industries provides significant opportunity,” Iglehart said.

TIglehart said there will be challenges, and opportunities.

“Talent attraction and continued support of our partners in the talent and workforce space, I think, will be even more critical to the future success and, quite frankly, competitiveness of our region and our existing business to grow and thrive,” Iglehart said.

Indy Partnership is an economic development organization for the nine-county Indianapolis area.
