FISHERS, Ind. (AP) — Officials say the bodies of two longtime teachers have been found at a home in suburban Indianapolis.

Fishers police responding to a report Wednesday night of gunshots found the bodies of 52-year-old Frank Sergi II and 44-year-old Kristal Sergi. The causes of their deaths weren't immediately released. Sgt. Tom Weger said investigators don't believe anyone else is involved in the deaths.

The Indianapolis Star reports court records show the two were divorcing.

The Hamilton Southeastern Schools described the couple as longtime teachers and said classes at Hoosier Road Elementary School, where Kristal Sergi taught, and Fall Creek Intermediate School, where Frank Sergi taught, were canceled Thursday and Friday for grief counseling.

A tweet from district Superintendent Allen Bourff says the district is "mourning the loss of two beloved teachers."
