About the Event

Join WFYI Live for a special sneak-peek screening of LEONARDO da VINCI on Sunday, November 10 at 2 p.m. at Kan-Kan Cinema. This 30-minute highlight reel from the upcoming series focuses on the natural world as our greatest teacher. The event will also include a one-hour sketching workshop with artist Dana Powell-Smith, with all supplies provided.

About Leonardo Da Vinci

LEONARDO da VINCI is a two-part, four-hour documentary directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns, and David McMahon premiering on November 18 and 19 on WFYI. The series delves into the life and accomplishments of the 15th-century polymath. Set against the vibrant and transformative backdrop of Renaissance Italy, the film vividly brings to life the artist's towering achievements through his extensive personal notebooks, firsthand and secondary accounts of his life, as well as interviews with contemporary scholars, artists, engineers, inventors and enthusiasts.
