| Description: | The post-war era of 1950s Carmel, Indiana doesn't seem like the first place to look for a woman breaking into the male-dominated profession
of architecture, but Avriel Joy Christy was doing just that. An avant-garde designer, Avriel revolutionized custom homebuilding in Indiana. Her use of light and angles in her work are hallmarks of then-contemporary architecture. Tragically, she died young due to complications of diabetes. |

| Description: | George Boxley was a resident of Spotsylvania County, Virginia. But in the early 1800s, his antislavery attitude was not welcome. In 1816,
Boxley was accused of inciting a slave rebellion, and the penalty was hanging. But the only witnesses against Boxley were slaves, and under Virginia law at the time, a black person's testimony was inadmissible as evidence against a white man.
Legend has it that Mrs. Boxley smuggled a tool into Boxley's jail cell to aid him in escape. However Boxley managed to escape is unsure, but he successfully did, evading bounty hunters and the like for twelve whole years before settling in the wilderness of the Indiana Territory. |

Because of the similarity in movement between the way horses and humans walk, riding a orse helps strengthen core muscles in the legs, abdomen, and back-- muscles that are necessary for walking.
Many different therapies with animals exist, and it is generally regarded as a good way to help individuals cope with nonphysical obstacles like aggression and speech issues. |
