About the Event

You and your little ones are invited to celebrate Día del Niño at Be My Neighbor Day on April 27 at Indianapolis Central Library. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., children can meet Daniel Tiger, hear stories read aloud in English and Spanish, write and send letters to neighbors near and far and receive free books!

Musical performances, art stations and lots of play will round out the day. Guests are encouraged to bring new lip balm to donate to children in local hospitals. A special sensory-friendly experience is offered from 9 to 10 a.m. This event is powered by PNC Grow Up Great® in partnership with the Indianapolis Public Library and through gifts to the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
